Icelandic Man's Home Destroyed by Volcano Eruption on Live TV

An Icelandic man, Hrannar Jon Emilsson, watched his newly built home in Grindavík get destroyed by lava from the country's second volcano eruption in less than a month, as he saw it burn down on live TV. The eruption forced the town to evacuate once again, with the Icelandic Meteorological Office stating that while there is no longer visible activity within the eruptive fissures, considerable hazards persist in the area as the magma continues to cause expansion and the eruption is not yet declared over.
