Icelandic Volcano Continues to Erupt, Earthquakes Reported

A volcano on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland has erupted for the third consecutive year, following a period of intense seismic activity with over 4,700 earthquakes recorded in the past six days. The eruption, located near an area called "Little Ram," began after a sudden increase in seismic activity. The fissure is estimated to be 200 meters long, and smoke can be seen rising from the volcano. Residents have been advised to stay away from the area and avoid stopping their cars on Reykjanesbraut to witness the eruption.
