"Tenerife's Holiday Island Engulfed in Devastating Wildfires"

Wildfires in Tenerife, Spain's Canary Islands, are burning "out of control" in the mountainous area surrounding Mount Teide. Approximately 1,800 hectares of land have been affected, leading to the evacuation of several villages. Efforts to contain the fire are being hampered by the challenging terrain. Flights to and from Tenerife have not been affected so far, and major airlines have not issued any notices of cancellations.
