Wildfires force mass evacuations across Western Canada.

More than 13,000 people have been evacuated from the Canadian province of Alberta due to 78 wildfires, 19 of which are out of control, burning across the region amid abnormally hot weather and high winds. The province has experienced 348 wildfires since January, burning over 61,776 acres. Emergency officials have ordered immediate evacuation in some areas, and residents are not allowed to have open woodfires on public or private lands while the fires are burning.
