BJP and Congress Battle Over Commission Rates in Karnataka Election.

The BJP and Congress have been trading allegations of corruption and commission in the run-up to the Karnataka assembly elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi retaliated against the Congress's "40% commission" allegation by saying that 85% commission is in the nature and behaviour of the Congress. The controversy over "40% commission" arose after the death of a contractor who had alleged that a BJP leader had demanded a 40% commission for a government project. Several contractors have since come forward with similar allegations.
