Far-right Austrian nationalist Martin Sellner has been banned from entering Germany for three years after addressing a meeting about mass deportations, sparking mass protests. Sellner, a leader of Austria’s ethno-nationalist Identitarian Movement, had also been deported from Switzerland and had his Twitter account restored with the help of Elon Musk. Germany has seen demonstrations against extremism and the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party, some of whose members attended the November meeting in Potsdam where Sellner gave a presentation on the practicalities of carrying out mass deportations.
