Greek Elections 2023: Key Issues and Uncertain Outcome.

Greeks are voting in a parliamentary election with the main issues being the economy, jobs, and security with Turkey. The centre-right party, New Democracy, led by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, is polling ahead of the main opposition left-wing party, Syriza. A repeat vote is expected by early July unless the political parties agree on a coalition. The winning party will be awarded a bonus of 20 seats outright if it gets at least 25 percent of the vote, and can get up to 50 seats if it gets about 40 percent of the vote.
