Jakov Milatović poised to become Montenegro's next president.

Former economy minister Jakov Milatović has won the presidential election in Montenegro, defeating incumbent Milo Đukanović. Milatović's victory is believed to reflect voter fatigue with Đukanović and disillusionment with established politicians. Milatović won 60% of the vote, and Đukanović 40% of the vote. This marks the first time in more than three decades that Montenegro has a new president.
