Putin Meets Wagner Leader Prigozhin Following Mutiny

Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Yevgeny Prigozhin, the head of the mercenary group Wagner, after the failed mutiny by the group last month. Prigozhin was among 35 Wagner commanders invited to the meeting in Moscow, where Putin assessed the Ukraine war effort and the mutiny. Charges against Prigozhin were dropped as part of a deal to end the mutiny, and he was offered relocation to Belarus. The Wagner Group has been fighting alongside the Russian army in Ukraine, but Prigozhin had publicly criticized Russia's Ministry of Defence. Prigozhin's current whereabouts are unknown, but Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko stated that he is in Russia.
