Serbian citizens demand action against gun violence with massive protests.

Tens of thousands of protesters rallied in Belgrade for the third time in a month to demand the Serbian government's resignation following two mass shootings earlier this month. The opposition protesters called for the resignation of two government ministers and the revocation of broadcasting licenses for two TV networks that promote violence and glorify crime figures. The government officials ignored the demands and accused the protesters of being manipulated by foreign secret services. The pro-government party of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic organized a counterprotest in a town north of Belgrade attended by thousands of his supporters.
