US Secretary of State accuses all sides of war crimes in Ethiopia conflict.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has stated that war crimes and crimes against humanity were committed by Ethiopian and Eritrean troops, as well as rebels, during the two-year conflict in Tigray. The state department found that federal troops from both Ethiopia and Eritrea, as well as the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) and forces from the neighbouring Amhara region, committed war crimes. Ethiopian, Eritrean, and Amhara forces also committed crimes against humanity, including killings and sexual violence. Blinken called for accountability and urged the governments of Ethiopia and Eritrea, as well as the TPLF, to hold those responsible for the atrocities accountable.
