YS Sharmila arrested for assaulting police officers in Hyderabad.

YSR Telangana Party president Y S Sharmila was arrested by Hyderabad police when she tried to lay siege to the office of Special Investigation Team probing the alleged leak of questions for recruitment exams conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission. Sharmila manhandled some police personnel and slapped a woman constable before being arrested. A video of Sharmila making derogatory comments against the police and their sharp retort has gone viral on social media. Hyderabad police officers’ association president Valla Shankar Reddy condemned the manhandling of the police by Sharmila and her mother Y S Vijayamma.
