Rise of Venezuelan Women in Caribbean Fishing Industry

Venezuelan women are increasingly joining the traditionally male-dominated fishing industry, either as part of a family tradition or due to job losses during the country's economic crisis. Despite the physically demanding work and low pay, these women are gaining respect and recognition from their male counterparts. Many of them have taken on additional roles such as cleaning and processing fish, tutoring, and even starting their own businesses.
