Intoxicated US Tourists Stranded on Eiffel Tower Overnight

Two intoxicated American tourists were discovered asleep on the Eiffel Tower after spending a drunken night there. The tourists, who had Sunday evening tickets, were allegedly trapped due to excessive alcohol consumption. They were quickly removed by security staff and handed over to Paris police. The operator of the Eiffel Tower will press charges for the intrusion, although no threat was posed. The tower opened late on Monday as a result of the incident.
