Tourist fined for driving Ferrari into Florence's piazza.

An American tourist was fined €470 ($506) after driving a Swiss-registered Ferrari Spider into the pedestrianized Piazza della Signoria in Florence. The tourist was seen driving in a "nonsensical" way along Via dei Gondi street before parking in the square, which is normally crowded with tourists. The driver was fined on the spot after checks revealed that he didn't have the appropriate paperwork for driving in Italy. This is not the first time tourists have been fined for driving in Italy's historic hotspots.
