"Multiple Ships Depart for Gaza to Deliver Aid Amid Israel-Hamas Conflict"

The 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) soldiers set sail for Gaza to build a pier for aid delivery, aiming to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region. The Army ships, led by warrants and senior enlisted noncommissioned officers, will set up a temporary pier system to facilitate the offloading of aid from civilian ships. Around 1,000 service members, including Navy Beach Group 1, will be involved in the operation, with the USNS Roy Benavidez also deployed to assist with logistics and humanitarian response.
