Kinahan Extradited from Dubai to Ireland to Face Charges

Daniel Kinahan, Ireland’s most wanted crime suspect, has been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Dublin after losing a legal bid to block his return; he is expected to be charged at the Special Criminal Court with directing organised crime linked to a feud with the Hutches that left 18 people dead between 2015 and 2018. The case follows US sanctions on Kinahan and his network for drug trafficking, money laundering and firearms, and Ireland deployed a major security operation for his arrival.
