Pocket 4P vs iPhone 17 Pro: Precision Filmmaking Tool or Versatile All‑Round Device
The Osmo Pocket 4P is a dedicated filmmaking tool with a 1-inch sensor, mechanical gimbal, and 4K/240fps capture that delivers natural colors and strong post-production flexibility, while the iPhone 17 Pro packs a triple-camera system with computational photography, 48MP stills, and Apple Log 2 for vibrant, quick outputs. Pocket 4P offers superior stabilization and precision for professional workflows; the iPhone 17 Pro emphasizes convenience and versatility for casual to semi-professional use, with digital stabilization and some trade-offs in slow-motion and low-light performance. The choice depends on whether you need a dedicated cinema tool or an all-in-one portable device.
