"VSP Conducts Search Warrant at Natural Bridge Zoo Amid Ongoing Investigation"

Virginia State Police, with assistance from the Attorney General's Office, are conducting an investigative search warrant at the Natural Bridge Zoo in Rockbridge County. The zoo owners claim unfair treatment and plan to fight the seizure in court. Animal control trailers were seen removing an animal from the zoo, and police were documenting findings in the animal enclosures. PETA has expressed support for the investigation, citing concerns about the welfare of the animals, particularly a solitary elephant named Asha. The search is expected to continue into Thursday.
