Occupation of Oleshky: Water Wars in Kherson Region
The town of Oleshky in the Kherson region, occupied by Russian troops, has been surrounded by water, with people fleeing to rooftops and no help coming. The self-proclaimed 'authorities' took bedridden patients out of the hospital, and seriously ill patients were taken to other areas. Over 600 requests were received to evacuate from rooftops and flooded houses, but the occupation "authorities" did not come to their aid. The water level began to rise again in several villages, and Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. Evacuation of the population continues in the Kherson region.
