"Renowned Fossil Hunter Fights to Keep Collection in UK"

Fossil hunter Wolfgang Grulke, who has amassed a world-renowned collection spanning 500 million years of evolution, is seeking a new home for his private museum in the UK. The collection, which includes rare heteromorph ammonites and a perfectly preserved 'kamikaze' ichthyosaur, has garnered interest from museums abroad but Grulke hopes it will remain in the UK. His passion for fossils began 50 years ago, and his self-taught expertise has led to a collection considered the largest and best of its kind in the world.
