A member of Ukraine's VIP protection detail accompanying President Zelensky was seen carrying a Laugo Arms 'Alien' 9mm pistol, known for its exotic design and high accuracy. The Alien pistol features a low bore axis design, reducing muzzle flip and improving accuracy during rapid fire. It has a fixed barrel positioned in the frame, a unique slide design, and a balanced center of gravity. While the Alien is not commonly used by military or law enforcement groups, it has been marketed to professional competition shooters. The pistol's high performance makes it suitable for protecting high-value individuals in close-quarter environments. The origin of the Alien pistol in Ukraine is unknown, but it is available on the commercial market in Europe.
