"Netflix's 'The Program' Shines Light on Alleged Abuse at Troubled Teen School"

Netflix's new documentary "The Program: Cons, Cults and Kidnapping" sheds light on alleged physical, sexual, and psychological abuse at the now-closed Academy of Ivy Ridge near Ogdensburg. Director Katherine Kubler and her crew uncovered evidence of abuse at the abandoned school and hope to hold the staff accountable. The documentary aims to raise awareness about the troubled teens industry and the ongoing issue of kids being held in similar abusive situations. St. Lawrence County District Attorney Gary Pasqua is open to investigating any complaints from former students, despite potential statutes of limitation.
