NASA has created an animation comparing the size of 10 supermassive black holes to our Solar System. The smallest featured black hole lies at the center of the galaxy known as 1601+3113 and has the mass of merely 100,000 Suns. The largest black hole in the animation, TON 618, is equal to 60 billion Suns. There are 40 billion billion black holes in the Universe. Black holes are points in space where gravity is so strong, even light can’t escape its pull.
