New Jersey's plan to ban smoking inside Atlantic City's nine casinos has advanced after the state Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens Committee voted 5-1 with two abstentions to move the proposal forward, marking the first time in nearly two decades that there has been a vote on the issue.
