Iran's 2022 Protest Crackdown: UN Condemns Killings, Torture, and Rape as Crimes Against Humanity

A U.N. fact-finding mission has reported that Iranian authorities engaged in a brutal crackdown on mass protests following the death of Mahsa Amini, including killings, torture, and rape. The report cites credible estimates that 551 people were killed by security forces, with most of the casualties being women and children.
