Armed attacker shot and killed by deputies after firing on Edison crew in Mentone

A 78-year-old man, Paul Selby, fired at Southern California Edison workers and private contractors in Mentone, prompting a deputy-involved shootout during a standoff in which Selby was killed; no other injuries were reported and the investigation continues.
