SSA expands fast-track disability list with 14 new rare conditions

The Social Security Administration added 14 health conditions to its Compassionate Allowances fast-track disability list, bringing the total to 314 conditions; the program, launched in 2008, has approved over 1.2 million people and aims to speed up benefits for those with serious diagnoses.
