"Boeing Faces New Allegations and Safety Concerns Over 737 Max Aircraft"

An attorney representing passengers on Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 has expanded the lawsuit against the airline and Boeing, citing new allegations about the incident, including a whistling sound heard on a previous flight and emotional and physical injuries suffered by passengers. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) found that missing bolts played a factor in the midair blowout, and the lawsuit also alleges that pilots and crew were not informed of the door design feature. The incident occurred on Jan. 5, causing the cabin to depressurize, but the plane safely returned to Portland for an emergency landing with no serious injuries reported.
