Mets deal A.J. Minter to Twins for two infield prospects

The Mets traded lefty reliever A.J. Minter to the Minnesota Twins for two infield prospects: Billy Amick (23, Double-A, .217/.338/.482 with 23 HR) and Bruin Agbayani (19, Single-A, .268/.412/.342), with Agbayani being Benny Agbayani’s son; Minter, who signed a 2-year, $22 million deal in 2025, returned from a lat injury to post a 2.12 ERA over 34 Mets innings this season.
