Makhachev Edges Garry as Dern and Turner Impress at UFC 330

Islam Makhachev narrowly retained the UFC welterweight title with a unanimous-decision win over Ian Garry at UFC 330, marking the first time his dominance looked vulnerable; co‑main Mackenzie Dern defended her strawweight title against Gillian Robertson, and Jalin Turner delivered a 39‑second KO to signal a title run at 155. The piece also discusses next-contender possibilities (Carlos Prates and Michael Morales) and argues that a Dern‑Zhang rematch is must‑watch for the division, as Makhachev inches closer to GOAT status.
