Scarab Serena Tops MADE Builder's Award, Proving Road Bikes Still Thrill

At the 2026 MADE Show, Scarab Cycles' Scarab Serena won the Builder’s Award for road bikes, with other road bikes from English Cycles and Rare Earth Cycle also honored. Serena is a handmade steel climber frame built with Columbus Spirit tubes, featuring a custom two-piece head tube, 3D-printed UDH dropouts, and room for 32mm tires; the base frame starts at $4,850, and only 25 First Series Serenas will be produced.
