Chevy's Silverado EV: Price Hikes, Work Truck, Death, and Monster Battery.

General Motors has announced that the base model of its Chevrolet Silverado EV Work Truck will see a price increase from the previously announced $39,900. The automaker has not specified the new price but has guaranteed that it will be competitively priced and have more range than its competitors. The launch version of the Silverado EV Work Truck will have an increased payload and towing capacity, and an EPA-estimated range of 450 miles. GM is closing reservations for the truck with more than 185,000 for both fleet and retail customers in the cue.
