Elon Musk Teases New Tesla EVs Amid Economic Uncertainty

Tesla CEO Elon Musk teased two new electric vehicles at the company's annual shareholder meeting, claiming that Tesla is already building one. The vehicles are expected to be more affordable and sell at much higher volumes. Musk did not provide details on the second vehicle, but a rendered image of a vehicle silhouette appeared on the screen behind him, possibly the $25,000 hatchback that Musk mentioned in 2020. Tesla also confirmed plans to build a gigafactory in Mexico, where production of the hatchback is expected to take place.
