Ford F-150 Lightning Prices Continue to Rise as Production Resumes.

Ford has resumed production of its electric pickup, the F-150 Lightning, after a recall that affected only 18 units. However, the company has also announced another price increase, marking the fourth since 2022. The base Pro, Lariat, and top-line Platinum trims will all see price hikes due to rising material costs, supply chain issues, and market factors. The base Pro now starts at $61,869, a nearly 50% increase since its introduction. Order banks for the 2023 models will open in mid-April, but the Lightning Pro is already sold out for retail customers.
