Honda recalls millions of vehicles over faulty backup camera cables.

Honda is recalling nearly 1.2 million vehicles due to a faulty rearview camera that may not display an image of what's behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. The recall affects certain models of the Odyssey, Pilot, and Passport from 2018 to 2023. Honda dealers will replace the cable harness and install a cover over the connector for free. Owners of the affected vehicles will receive a letter starting on July 24 and can contact Honda customer service for more information.
