American Airlines flight 802 from North Carolina to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport turned back to Raleigh-Durham International Airport due to a possible mechanical issue with a cargo door on the Airbus A321, but landed safely with no emergency declared. Passengers were put on another aircraft to continue their journey. This incident comes after American Airlines recently purchased 260 planes, including a significant number of Boeing's largest 737 Max airplane, to expand its fleet and network.
