Multiple Flights Depart with Missing Window Panes, Raising Safety Concerns

A flight from London to Orlando was forced to turn around after crew members discovered missing window panes. Passengers noticed unusual noise and coldness after takeoff, prompting an investigation. The crew member found a window seal flapping and a windowpane slipped down. The plane landed safely, and subsequent inspection revealed two missing window panes and a dislodged third pane. The cabin never lost pressurization, but investigators found melted foam ring material and deformed window panes. The plane had been used for filming the day before, which may have caused the damage. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch will continue the investigation to prevent similar incidents.
