Lucid Motors has reduced prices of its Air luxury sedans by 1% to 10% in an effort to boost demand amidst a sluggish electric vehicle market. The price cuts range from $69,900 for the Air Pure rear-wheel drive to $109,900 for the Air Grand Touring. The company also announced incentives such as a $1,000 allowance for charging accessories and free scheduled maintenance for two years. This move comes as the global EV market is expected to experience a slowdown in growth due to reduced state subsidies, with market leader Tesla also anticipating slower growth despite price reductions.
