Centene Corp is working to enroll people back into Medicaid plans after the removal of pandemic-relief measures left hundreds of thousands without coverage. The company lost over 260,000 Medicaid members in Q2 due to redetermination but has launched a major outreach effort to recapture eligible individuals. Despite the decline in Medicaid memberships, Centene beat Wall Street estimates for Q2 profit, driven by strong growth in its commercial marketplace business. The insurer also raised its full-year earnings adjusted profit forecast.
