City Steam Brewery & Cafe in Hartford, Connecticut, has reopened after being closed for four months due to flood damage. The brewery/cafe, which has been open for 25 years, is one of Connecticut's first craft breweries. The reopening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials, including Mayor Luke Bronin, who said the business is an important part of bringing life, energy, vitality and economic activity to downtown Hartford. The city provided a $100,000 grant from the Hartford's Small Business Investment Fund to ensure the business's immediate and long-term success.
