Elon Musk's 2:30 AM Email to Twitter Employees: "Office is Not Optional"

Elon Musk, CEO of Twitter, sent an email to employees at 2:30 am stating that "office is not optional" and encouraging them to work long hours. Musk has previously mandated a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office for Tesla employees and has fired thousands of Twitter employees since taking control of the platform. While Twitter had already created a flexible remote work arrangement prior to the acquisition, Musk is not a fan of remote working and has drawn criticism from worker advocates about potential exposure to Covid-19.
