Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund's venture arm, Sanabil, has revealed its portfolio of venture capital and private equity funds, which includes 40 firms such as Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue, and Techstars. The disclosure comes after questions were raised about Silicon Valley's ties to the Saudis following the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Sanabil invests about $2 billion per year and has been operational for a decade, though its venture strategy was only approved in 2019.
