"Sony Pictures' Third-Quarter Profits Soar to $281 Million"

Sony Pictures Entertainment reported a fiscal third-quarter profit of $281 million, up from $179 million in the previous year, with revenue reaching $2.47 billion. The motion picture division's revenue was $880 million, while television productions saw revenue of $883 million. Sony's Game & Network Services division, separate from SPE, had a strong quarter with revenue hitting $9.8 billion, driven by PlayStation 5 sales. The music division also performed well, with revenue reaching $2.77 billion, featuring top-selling acts such as SZA, Travis Scott, Rod Wave, and Doja Cat.
