TL;DR
Tesla's European Gigafactory near Berlin halted production and lost power after a suspected arson attack on an electricity pylon nearby, prompting CEO Elon Musk to call the incident "extremely dumb." A letter from a far-left activist group claimed responsibility for the attack, criticizing Tesla and Musk. This setback adds to Tesla's recent challenges in Europe, including union pressure and supply disruptions. The plant's expansion plans have faced opposition from local communities and environmental activists, leading to tensions and protests.
