"Flight Attendant Arrested for Secretly Filming Minors in Aircraft Bathrooms"

American Airlines flight attendant Estes Carter Thompson III was arrested for attempting to secretly record a young female passenger using a bathroom onboard a Boston-bound plane and possessing recordings of four additional minor female passengers using lavatories aboard aircraft he had worked previously. Thompson was charged with attempted sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography. The incidents occurred on various flights between January and September 2023. The airline stated that the flight attendant was immediately withheld from service following the September 2023 incident and hasn’t worked since.
