"Major Drug Bust: 11kg of Cocaine Discovered in Motorized Wheelchair in Hong Kong"

Customs officials at Hong Kong International Airport have arrested a 51-year-old man after discovering 11kg of suspected cocaine hidden in the cushions of an electric wheelchair. The drugs, worth an estimated $1.5m, were found during customs clearance. The man, who arrived from Sint Maarten via Paris, claimed the wheelchair was loaned to him by a friend. This incident has prompted increased checks on visitors from "high-risk regions" to combat transnational drug trafficking activities.
