Binance Accused of Lying to Congress by Elizabeth Warren and Senators

Senators Elizabeth Warren and Chris Van Hollen have asked the US Justice Department to investigate whether Binance Holdings Ltd. made false statements to lawmakers about its business practices, including whether its American affiliate Binance.US was truly a separate entity. The Securities and Exchange Commission has also alleged that Binance and its CEO violated securities rules, mishandled customer funds, and misled investors. The lawmakers claim that Binance and Binance.US provided false and misleading information to Congress, undermining an important investigation and the legislative process.
