Bank of America warns customers of a data breach after its service provider, Infosys McCamish Systems, was hacked, exposing personal information of approximately 57,000 individuals. The breach, attributed to the LockBit ransomware gang, compromised names, addresses, social security numbers, dates of birth, and financial information. This incident follows a previous breach in May 2023, where Bank of America customers' information was exposed after a breach of Ernst & Young's MOVEit Transfer platform.
