"Lincoln Bank's Data Breach Alert: Customers Notified"

Union Bank & Trust, the third-largest bank in Nebraska, has notified customers of a data breach related to the nationwide hack of the MOVEit file transfer software. The bank stated that no customer accounts were accessed, but personal information such as names, birth dates, addresses, email addresses, and Social Security numbers may have been exposed. The bank is offering affected customers free credit and identity theft protection services for one year. The extent of the breach and the number of affected customers is currently unknown.
